During a virtual scan of any heart you can always go to 4D mode, which will show you the full anatomy behind the ultrasound image, along with Color Doppler and anatomical labels!

How to use Fetal Heart VR?
1. ARRANGING YOUR WORKSPACE
Because you are using an Oculus the space around you must be clear of objects that your hands can hit. The Oculus will promt you to create a space around you. We offer a small inflatable phantom in the shape of a pregnant belly to help you create a realistic scanning experience and give your arm a place to rest on.
However, you can also use the app on a home-made support (pillow, desk). Some of this will depend on your experience level with Oculus headset.
2. Learn how to use controllers
The app contains directions on using the hand-held controllers. Many of the buttons on the hand controllers are duplicated on the control panel in from of you so you may use whichever method that is most convenient for you.
We offer an additional adaptor for the hand controllers in the shape of an ultrasound transducer to create a more realistic scanning experience.
3. Explore Fetal Heart VR Functions
The virtual examination can be performed in the following modes: 2D, 4D, 2D + color Doppler angle dependent mapping, 3D + color Doppler angle dependent mapping.
During a virtual scan you can Freeze and use CINE, view labels of anatomical structures, control baby’s movement etc.
